Snorkelling with Don Foster’s Dive Cayman is more than just swimming on the surface — it’s about connecting with the ocean. Our team of experienced guides will brief you on safe snorkelling techniques, ocean awareness, and the best ways to experience marine life respectfully and responsibly.
Where Adventure Meets Tranquility
Most of our snorkelling experiences begin right from our waterfront location. With easy access via two ladders, you can explore along the shoreline or venture further toward the main section of the reef — located about 100 yards offshore. Please note: you must be a strong swimmer, as the water here is too deep to stand.

Discover the mysterious world beneath the waves on a Guided Shore Night Snorkeling Adventure.
As darkness falls, explore shallow, vibrant coral reefs and encounter nocturnal marine life like curious octopuses, shimmering bioluminescent plankton, and glowing jellyfish. Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll marvel at the mesmerizing underwater lights and the secrets of the deep in a safe and awe-inspiring environment. Perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers craving a unique aquatic experience under the stars.

The minimum requirements to sign up for a any Snorkel Adventure, include:
- Age Limit: 12 years old and older.
- Swim Proficiency: Good swimming skills and comfort in open water too deep to stand on
- Health Condition: Good physical health; no serious medical issues like asthma, heart problems, or epilepsy. Be aware of severe allergic reaction due to Jelly Fish stings. Snorkelers need to be able to negotiate an 8 steps ladder, up and down to access and exit the water. Full body coverage (wetsuit or rash guard) is required for the night adventure.
- Snorkeling Experience: Previous daytime snorkeling experience may be required.
- Snorkeling Equipment: You are welcome to bring your own if you already know it works well. We will include snorkeling gear, including mask, snorkel, Fins and full length Rash Guards (use of Rash Guard is a must due to possibility of Jelly Fish activity)
- Supervision: Attend the Adventure Briefing. This experience is Guided by Certified Divemaster / Scuba Instructors
- Night Visibility: Must be comfortable snorkeling in low-light conditions, often with the aid of underwater flashlights and / or glow sticks.
- Consent Forms: Completed waiver or consent forms acknowledging the risks involved.

Located directly in front of our shop, offering spectacular coral formations and tropical fish.
Sea View Reef
Just south of our facility, known for its soft corals and calm conditions.
Devil’s Grotto
One of Grand Cayman’s most famous snorkel and dive sites, featuring caverns, tunnels, and breathtaking underwater scenery.
